Travelling solo has a different sense of fulfillment and experience. Especially for someone like me who always has a tendency to give way to another. It's so freeing to travel without having to worry about another person, to be able to do anything without someone else holding you back, and to be able to be alone and just be. Meeting new faces, making new friends, and to leave a footprint in another traveler comes easier for me on a trip than in a social gathering. Before a trip I feel a mix of excitement and anxiousness that is only relieved after the first destination. After a trip, I am left with a sense of accomplishment and give myself a pat on the back for being able to make it through without a panic attack LOL. Of course traveling alone has it's down sides, but the pros so outweighs the cons. I am planning on making this list longer from now on.
